BLUSH

Here is my BLUSH COLLECTION.... ENJOY!!!

My all time favorite blushes are from Rimmel London. I love their whole line of cosmetics from face foundations, to powders, mascara's, blushes, you name it...I Love them all.

I honestly don't have a lot of MAC products, but I do have to say that this blush from them is great. When you want that extra punch of color this one will do it for me. I am fair skin toned so I have to apply it with a light hand or else it can get a little heavy. I use this blush when I want to look more tanned and especially in the summer.

Here I have the L'oreal True Match blush in Neutral on the left. It's a peachy color and looks great when you want to look more natural. True Match has many products where you can match your overall makeup to your skin tone. Let's say you are cool tone, they have colors example: C1, C2, etc.. C meaning COOL. The same goes for warm colors. W1, W2, etc...or they have neutral. N1, N2, etc. Once you find your perfect skin tone shade it is easy to find which blush or foundation will work best on you.

In the middle we have the NYX blush. I picked this one up when it was on sale at my drugstore and have not regretted it since then. I love it! It is so girly...PINK...What's not to love?

The one on the right is my "Blend n' Glow" blush, by Bonnebell. It is very light in color, almost blending right into my skin. But I really do love it, depending on my mood that day I sometimes do like that "barely there" makeup look.

I hope you enjoyed my blush collection, although I don't know the prices of these products I do know that they weren't expensive at all. Between 5-8 dollars I would say. Depending when you purchase them, you can get most of them when they are on sale.

So, keep on BLUSHING...till next time!!!

Ice Cream kro-mask

I recently purchased the "Ice Cream Kro-Mask". It's a nourishing color mask, in 300ml, by Inebrya. I got it at my local pharmacy here in Canada. The bottle itself says: nourishing color mask revives, intensifies and adds depth to natural or coloured and streaked hair. Restores intense tones to dull and lifeless hair.

Use: after shampooing, apply evenly with a comb to towel dried hair. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse off well. Always wear plastic gloves. Can cause allergic reaction.

I got mine in "Intense Copper" to intensify my highlights. I find you can use this product as a toner too. Works well after bleaching or to even out your color, this product will definitely do the job.

You can get them in most colors: browns, reds, blonds, for grey hair, etc...

Cherry & Cream Cheese Pie

While surfing the Internet one night I came across a recipe that I thought sounded delicious and easy to make. I call it "The Cherry & Cream Cheese Pie". It is so easy to make and the ingredients are very simple and not expensive.

So here is a pic of how it looked like after it was baked.

List of ingredients

You will need:
2 packages of crescent rolls
cream cheese
powdered sugar
vanilla
cherry pie filling
egg
sugar

You will also need:
fork
knife
baking tray
pastry brush
spoon

1. Roll out the crescent rolls (square shaped)
2. Transfer the rolled out dough to your tray (it'll be easier to work with like this)
3. Cut some strips along the edge of the dough. (leaving the middle untouched. This will be used to close up the pastry to keep the filling inside without spilling out)
4. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
5. Lay the mixture onto the middle of the dough.
6. With a fork lay the cherries onto the cheese mixture...careful not to much liquid or it'll spill out.
7. Fold up the edges together and press firmly. (holds the dough together)
8. Whip up an egg mixture: egg white + sugar, and brush onto the pie.
9. Set the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30mins. (until golden brown)

VOILA your pie is done, let sit for a few minutes, and ENJOY!!!

REVIEW Sigma E-25 Blending Brush

Sigma E-25 blending brush is great. This small travel size brush which I received is quite similar to the Mac 217 brush. After applying your eye shadow & crease shadow this brush works wonders in blending colors together for that flawless finished look. Its bristles are smooth, oval shaped, yet strong to hold its shape.

You can purchase the regular size brush which costs $9.00. You can even use it to apply your powder or cream shadows, eye primer or blend harsh lines away. The choice is yours!

I know for a fact that I am very satisfied with sigma's brush quality and I will definitely be purchasing more things from them. So a big thank you to Sigma for making great products!

                  Happy Blending!!!

ESENCIA by Samy REVIEW

ESENCIA BY SAMMY
WHITE LOTUS
BARLEY & NETTLE

HYDRATING SHAMPOO
The product says it's 95.8% natural.

Sulfate & Paraben Free
No propylene glycol
no artifical colors
natural plant extracts

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
The shampoo comes in this bottle with a huge round knob. You don't have to unscrew the bottle, because there is an opening where you just lift the rounded knob upwards and the products comes out in a brownish-gel like consistency. I do have to say that I really like it alot and it does sub-up very well.

MY REVIEW:
I have been using this product for a few weeks now, and I have noticed that it has made my hair softer. At first it would tangle my hair alot, but with continuous use of the product I do see results: it is more hydrated and shiny.

***I find when using paraben-free products you should stay away from silicone based products afterwards. We are trying to detoxify our hair from chemicals so when putting more chemicals on the hair afterwards it does the hair no good. That's what leads to tangles in the hair.***

The cons about this product was the smell. I was gonna throw it away because it smelt really bad. How can I describe the smell to you: smells like a furniture store. (woody scent). But I still kept using it and now I got used to the scent & I am kinda liking it.
